Operational Procurement - Who Should I contact?

To contact procurement you should raise a helpdesk ticket (via the portal, email or call the helpdesk number).


Since the helpdesk launch in 2023, the number of queries we have outstanding has reduced from 1300 to under

600 queries that we are managing at any one time, this is a result of the tracking and visibility the system gives us.


The helpdesk ensures tickets go to the right buyer and are picked up in periods of leave etc.  It also filters out the high number of enquiries we get from suppliers wanting to sell to the Trust and Suppliers chasing for payment rather than contacting SBS, this frees up time to focus on core tasks.


All Buyers have a designated category, for for example all tickets for Estates will go to the same buyer who will contact you directly.   All correspondence should be via the helpdesk rather than email as that gives us full visibility rather than information getting lost in private emails
